Astrium Investigates Automatic Landing At The Moon's South PoleBerlin, Germany (SPX) Sep 20, 2010 Astrium, Europe's leading space company, has won a new competitive contract from the European Space Agency (ESA), as a follow-up to the Next Exploration Science and Technology (NEXT) study to develop a Lunar Lander. China Publishes Official Chinese Names For Places On The MoonBeijing, China (XNA) Sep 03, 2010 China's Ministry of Civil Affairs has published the official Chinese names for places on the earth's moon, in a first that eliminates confusion and will help the nation's lunar exploration efforts. The ministry published the Chinese names for 468 places and will publish more at a later date.
